Stony Stonebraker
Everett “Stony” Stonebraker is a commercial real estate investor, syndicator and sponsor. He has invested as an LP, GP, and/or KP in multifamily properties (~1,800 units) in Florida, Georgia and Texas. He holds additional investments in traditional securities and other alternative investments.
Stony holds the CCIM designation for commercial real estate investment professionals and earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Georgia Tech, an MBA from the University of Miami and has completed post-graduate studies at MIT.
While attending Georgia Tech in their co-op program, he worked on five Saturn V rockets for NASA’s Apollo space program, built an electric car for the 1970 Clean Air Car Race, where he and his GT team drove the car from Boston to St. Louis, and conducted pioneering research into fiber optics for telecommunications.
Stony lives in Coral Gables, Florida with his wife, Anne, who both enjoy living near their son, Graham and his wife, Michelle.
