Meet the Contributors
Mihir Bhalla
Mihir joins us from Aavishkaar Capital, where he helped raise $130,000,000 for Aavishkaar’s 6th India-focused fund. During this period, he worked exclusively with blue-chip investors, including Temasek, British International Investments, Partners Group, and more. Mihir also played a lead role in analyzing 100+ investments in the cleantech space in India, contributed to building a deployable deal pipeline for Aavishkaar’s new fund, and actively grew Aavishkaar’s portfolio companies.
Prior to this, Mihir worked as an investment banker with PwC’s Mumbai office, where he advised companies on M&A and fundraising transactions. He also managed $460M distress sale of India’s largest education company, Educomp, to Ebix Inc.,
Mihir holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Studies with a specialization in Finance & Investments from the University of Mumbai, a Master’s in Finance from IE Business School, and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.
